Continous rains have been developing in South Africa since May 20.

Colored IR image combined with precipitation by FY-2H show the convection reaching cloud top colder than -50°C on April 20 and developing until 07:00 (UTC) on April 22.

12- and 48 hours precipitation merged by FY-3D/E/F show 100~250 mm rainfall in 48 hours in some area, and more than 250 mm in middle north.
